Dear students,
I hope you are all fine in this strange context. I know some of you will undoubtlessly practise their English. However, I am sending you the next unit so you can find texts, videos and exercises to stay in touch with English and learn faster after the break.
I strongly advise you to read. I can suggest “The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas” by John Boyne. I could also suggest you to watch "The Life of David Gale". It is a movie I sometimes show my students when discussing Justice and Capital punishment:-)
For information, by the end of the school year, you will have one last speaking presentation. You will have to present a country or a region based, among others, on the issues addressed in class (their settlement/immigration, their entertainment, the stereotypes about them, their judicial system, etc.) or any other relevant topic of your choice as long as I give you my agreement (the current context may be one). It is not any homework but just for you to make the most of your free time and be able to plan your work.
